Purpose
The lab keeps system behavior directly observable. It provides a controlled place to study operating systems, workload isolation, networks, deployment boundaries, recovery paths, and the difference between a service that runs and a platform that can be operated.
System layers
- Linux hosts and virtual-machine boundaries.
- Container images, networks, volumes, and service dependencies.
- Backend services with explicit health and failure behavior.
- DNS, reverse-proxy, and network-path inspection.
- Git-controlled configuration and repeatable validation.
- Logs, metrics, recovery notes, and operational evidence.
Evidence plan
The published record will connect architecture diagrams, sanitized configuration, failure experiments, recovery procedures, and versioned learning notes without exposing private infrastructure details.
